Service Description

Having built a good foundation in Latin with Latin Level 1, learners will be introduced to talking about the past in simple terms, as well as expressing desires, preferences and dislikes. We will expand the vocabulary studied to include more advanced terms, and more complex sentences. In addition, we will look at the state of Rome around the end of the Republic era, and the lives and adventures of Julius Caesar, Mark Antony and Cleopatra. Grammar to be covered: expanded conjugations, irregular verbs and introduction to the imperfect tense; indirect objects and appositive phrases. This class is ideal for Thinkers with some background in Latin, who would like to expand their learning not just of the language but of history and culture. If you are uncertain if your Thinker is a good fit for this class, please contact us for a detail consultation.

Cancellation Policy

We will do our utmost to ensure every booked class takes place. However, we strongly believe in the value of conversation between thinkers. Thus, we will not run a class with less than the minimum number of students. If we do not have a full group 24 hours before the class is set to start we will, sadly, cancel the session, refund all participants, and seek to run the class at a different time. Our full booking and cancellation policy can be found in our Terms and Services.
