Course Description
This course is a great introduction to business for any budding entrepreneurs! In our small, friendly group, Thinkers will learn about the many different guises of companies and businesses, and develop a growing understanding of how businesses work, what makes them successful (and the common elements in business failures too). With lots of real-life case studies to focus on, the course will guide learners through the structures of the business world, the highs and lows of marketing, profit, loss, net worth, market share and how all these elements work together in industry. A must for any curious business mind! This course follows the GCSE Business by Edexcel curriculum. The course is open to Thinkers sitting their exam and to Thinkers who simply want to learn about the world of business and economics. (As with all our IGCSE/GCSE classes assignments will be given to Thinkers, and those who complete these will be given feedback)
Cancellation Policy
All our classes require a minimum number of Thinkers to run. As soon as enough Thinkers sign up you will receive an e-mail from the Scholar running your class with a link to your virtual classroom. If we cannot gather enough thinkers to run a class we will, sadly, have to cancel and/or reschedule. If this is the case, we will e-mail 24 hours before your class is scheduled to start to let you know. To help ensure that your class does take place, please invite others to join you. We find that word of mouth is the best way to let new families know about Thinkers Meet Up. Thank you!
