Course Description
*** Please note IMPORTANT CHANGE TO PAYMENT INFORMATION at the bottom of this page - please book directly via tutor *** Rome seems to go from 'good emperor' to 'bad emperor' and back again in swift succession! What makes Trajan go down in history as a 'good emperor'? We'll be looking at what he did, what people say he did, and how they judged him. How does this compare to his 'bad' predecessor Domitian? Under Trajan the Roman Empire reached its largest extent: he ruled over war and peace, and a huge number of provinces from Britain to Syria, Africa to Dacia. We also have some very useful sources to learn about the man and his reign, giving us insights into ancient Rome at the end of the 1st century AD. Cancellation Policy
All our classes require a minimum number of Thinkers to run. As soon as enough Thinkers sign up you will receive an e-mail from the Scholar running your class with a link to your virtual classroom. If we cannot gather enough thinkers to run a class we will, sadly, have to cancel and/or reschedule. If this is the case, we will e-mail 24 hours before your class is scheduled to start to let you know. To help ensure that your class does take place, please invite others to join you. We find that word of mouth is the best way to let new families know about Thinkers Meet Up. Thank you!
