Radhika Desikan

I am a plant scientist by training, having had a PhD in plant science and been a lecturer at a top University. I have taught University level students on various aspects of plant science. I also have many years of experience in plant science research with numerous publications. I have recently been interested in plant science outreach to schools, mostly primary schools. I volunteer and help with plant science-related topics in a local primary school when possible. As well as this, I engage in teaching maths in a fun way to primary school children. As a side passion, I have recently been communicating plant science research to a young audience at Gotscience.org.
