Dr Karem Roitman

I live to learn. I want to encourage and inspire others to pursue wisdom, to question all givens, to search for truth. I love reading and discussing philosophy - driven by a desire to find justice!

My academic background: I have a DPhil and an MPhil from Oxford University in International Development, and a BA in Economics and a BSc in Political Science (both Summa Cum Laude) from Arizona State University. I have lectured and tutored at Oxford University, Regent's University, and the Open University. I have also served as a consultant for international bodies and governments, including DFID and the United Nations. You can find more about my academic work HERE.

My best training for teaching, however, has come from home educating my sons. I believe in the power of education to change a person and the world. Seeking an ideal education I decided to set up ThinkersMeetUp - a place where all children are treated as bright individuals and classes inspire. Thanks for joining us at TMU!
