A chemistry experiment changes the colour of liquids in test tubes

I studied chemistry and a PGCE at Bristol University and went into teaching in 2006 where I taught in secondary schools until I left teaching in 2017. Since then, I have taught science to home educated children from the ages of 5 and older where I have created practicals and activities that link in with their interests. I love helping to develop a sense of curiosity in a child and also enable them to learn things that will lead to a sense of discovery. I also enter into a dialogue with my students as I find that is the best way to get an idea of their level of understanding and address any misconceptions that they might have. In my spare time, I like to write interactive fiction gamebooks and explore different role playing games and board games.
