Moira

Mungall

Moira has been a registered teacher for more than 45 years, gaining experience across a variety of settings from nursery to senior school.  She has a Master of Education degree from the University of Edinburgh and is an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association. For many years Moira supported pupils in the primary sector, moving to run a dyslexia support unit for a local authority and then to become Head of the 'Support for Learning' department at a prestigious, all through, Edinburgh private school. She now enjoys tutoring six to twelve year olds on a 1:1 or small group basis.

Moira has a special interest in supporting pupils who have specific learning difficulties and particularly enjoys developing young people’s literacy skills, sparking their enthusiasm for reading and supporting them to develop their skills as a writer.
