Diko is a political commentator and holds a degree in International Development and Peace Studies and a Masters in International Economic Law. She has amassed management experience in local government, the public sector, third sector and charity sector. She was the first black woman to become President of Brookes Student Union and will become the first black woman to become a labour councillor in both her city and her ward in Oxford 2021. She currently works as business manager for a domestic violence charity and is in the process of soft launching her first business. When she isn’t working, involved in politics or supporting her local Church she can be found watching thriller multi-series on Netflix or BBC, eating popcorn, cooking up a storm in the kitchen and planning her wedding.
