Service Description

In all TMU Book Clubs books are used as departure points to discuss philosophical and political issues. We discuss the plot, characters, and literary strategies. Through these discussions we become better readers, better thinkers, better communicators, and writers. We aim to expand our horizons, develop critical, creative, and ethical thinking. Frankenstein will allow us to discuss gothic literature, how humans relate to science, ideas og belonging and discrimination, the creation of identity, how this classic has shaped our modern world and so much more. Please note that this class meets 3 times and students are then invited to submit an essay for feedback.

Cancellation Policy

We will do our utmost to ensure every booked class takes place. However, we strongly believe in the value of conversation between thinkers. Thus, we will not run a class with less than the minimum number of students. If we do not have a full group 24 hours before the class is set to start we will, sadly, cancel the session, refund all participants, and seek to run the class at a different time. Our full booking and cancellation policy can be found in our Terms and Services.
