*** Please note IMPORTANT CHANGE TO PAYMENT INFORMATION at the bottom of this page - please book directly via tutor *** We'll be looking at the lives of different Romans as case studies to debate what led to success for some and failure, disgrace, or even assassination for others. What did success mean in ancient Rome, and how did this change over time? What compromises did people have to make to achieve public acclaim, and how much do you admire, respect, or condemn them? Case studies will include a wide variety of Romans in different life situations, and we'll be looking at the elements necessary to their success including their supporters and other influencing factors as well as their personal abilities and life choices. *** IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION *** The cost for the course is £66. Cancellation Policy
All our classes require a minimum number of Thinkers to run. As soon as enough Thinkers sign up you will receive an e-mail from the Scholar running your class with a link to your virtual classroom. If we cannot gather enough thinkers to run a class we will, sadly, have to cancel and/or reschedule. If this is the case, we will e-mail 24 hours before your class is scheduled to start to let you know. To help ensure that your class does take place, please invite others to join you. We find that word of mouth is the best way to let new families know about Thinkers Meet Up. Thank you!
