Service Description

In this course we will be exploring Greek cities around Greece and other parts of the ancient world. We will explore their histories, the founding myths they told, their colonies, their culture, and their notable citizens and achievements. These might range from architecture to inventions, to philosophers, to famous battles, to leaders, languages, myths and more. Cities might include Corinth, Thebes, the Ionian islands, Syracuse, and more: student requests and interests will guide our research through the literature and archaeology. Students will have a chance to make a presentation to the group on a Greek city of their choice in the last class of the course, if they would like to.

Cancellation Policy

We will do our utmost to ensure every booked class takes place. However, we strongly believe in the value of conversation between thinkers. Thus, we will not run a class with less than the minimum number of students. If we do not have a full group 24 hours before the class is set to start we will, sadly, cancel the session, refund all participants, and seek to run the class at a different time. Our full booking and cancellation policy can be found in our Terms and Services.
