Paul

Hi, my name is Paul. My aim is to make learning Astronomy fun and rewarding. It's also about getting you out there and to get started doing some real, practical Astronomy as quickly as possible and/or helping you through the GCSE if you are going down that route. I have been teaching Astronomy (both introductory and intermediate) since 1999 with the last six years also teaching GCSE. I teach both privately and for Birmingham Adult Education Services as well as giving one-off talks to various societies and groups. I have been passionately interested in the subject since I was 8 years old and I am currently working towards a degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics. I hold a Certificate in Astronomy and Planetary Science from the Open University and a Certificate of Professional Development in Teaching Astronomy from John Moores University Liverpool and of course, many years of practical experience and subject knowledge!
