Mark Adams
Mark Adams qualified as a Product Designer in 1986 and after five years working in a company that makes food machinery he decided to qualify as an Art Teacher. Teaching Design Technology and Art in three secondary schools and becoming Head of a Design faculty, Mark’s Design students regularly won awards for their work.

Having home Educated each of their children Mark left teaching in schools and set up his own learning community with his wife Bev called ‘Time and Space Learning’. Here children come for one or two days a week to make stuff and to grow in confidence and skill.
Mark’s hobbies include playing Jazz Double Bass and flying model aircraft. Both these have featured in Mark’s teaching and his experience with CAD CAM and laser cutting have been used to produce amazing learning resources to inspire and encourage.

Mark comes to TMU with ideas of how we can work together on exciting projects to make things and learn together both in our own homes and together in meetups.
