I love exploring the world around me and knowing the why and how it looks like it does. I love travelling to new places, seeing new landscapes and meeting new people and customs. That’s why I studied Geography at The University of Aberdeen and completed a Postgraduate Certificate of Education at the University of Newcastle to become a Geography teacher. I have taught Geography at Secondary school for 14 years and led a Humanities faculty for 9 of those. Leading a Humanities faculty has further broadened my knowledge about the History and cultures of the world.
